Connecting Mollie

Mollie is a popular European payment provider that supports iDEAL, credit cards, Bancontact, SOFORT, and many other payment methods.

Prerequisites

A Mollie account (sign up at mollie.com)
Your Mollie API key (found in your Mollie Dashboard under Developers → API keys)

Setup Steps

Go to Settings → Payment Settings (admin access required)
In the Mollie section, enter your API key
Click Save
hejGuide verifies the connection automatically

TIP

Use the Live API key for real payments. The Test API key can be used to test the payment flow without processing real money.

What Happens After Connecting

You can send online payment links to guests from the booking page
Guests choose their preferred payment method (iDEAL, credit card, etc.)
Completed payments are automatically recorded in the booking
Failed or expired payments show a clear status

Mollie supports 20+ payment methods, including:

iDEAL (Netherlands)
Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
Bancontact (Belgium)
SOFORT (Germany, Austria)
PayPal
Apple Pay, Google Pay

The available methods depend on your Mollie account activation.

WARNING

Payment provider settings are account-level — only the account owner (admin) can configure them.
