Tasks

The Tasks module lets you create and manage work items for your team that go beyond cleaning. Whether it is a maintenance reminder, a property inspection, a guest request, or any custom to-do, Tasks gives you a centralized place to track it all -- and automate the repetitive parts.

What you can do with Tasks

  • Create tasks for any purpose -- Reminders, inspections, maintenance work, and custom tasks are all supported.
  • Assign to your team -- Every task can be assigned to a specific team member with a due date and urgency level.
  • Automate task creation -- Set up automations that create tasks based on booking events, so you never forget a recurring to-do.
  • Track progress -- Filter and sort tasks by status, urgency, assigned person, or type to stay on top of everything.

Getting started with Tasks

  1. Make sure the Tasks module is enabled in your subscription.
  2. Go to Tasks in the sidebar.
  3. Click New Task to create your first task.
  4. Set a title, description, urgency level, due date, and assign it to a team member.
  5. To automate recurring tasks, go to the Automations tab and set up triggers based on booking events.

TIP

Tasks work hand-in-hand with the Housekeeping module. Housekeeping handles cleaning tasks automatically, while the Tasks module covers everything else -- maintenance, inspections, reminders, and custom work. Use both together for complete operational coverage.
