Permissions

Control exactly what each team member can see and do in your hejGuide account.

Permission Levels

Permissions are set on two levels:

Module Access

Choose which modules a team member can access:

  • Full access — can view and edit
  • Read-only — can view but not make changes
  • No access — module is hidden

Available modules include: Calendar, Listings, Messages, Housekeeping, Tasks, Reports, Payments, and more.

Listing Access

Choose which properties a team member can work with:

  • All listings — access to every property
  • Specific listings — only selected properties are visible

Permission Templates

Create reusable templates for common roles:

  1. Go to TeamPermission Templates
  2. Click Create Template
  3. Name the template (e.g., "Cleaner", "Co-host", "Manager")
  4. Set module access levels
  5. Save the template

Example templates:

  • Cleaner — Housekeeping (full), Tasks (full), everything else (no access)
  • Co-host — Calendar, Listings, Messages, Bookings (full), Payments (read-only)
  • Manager — Full access to everything

TIP

You can duplicate and modify existing templates to create variations quickly.

Changing Permissions

  1. Go to Team
  2. Click on a team member
  3. Adjust their module access or listing access
  4. Click Save

Changes take effect immediately — the team member sees the updated permissions on their next page load.

Read-Only Mode

When a team member has read-only access to a module, they can view all information but action buttons (edit, delete, create) are hidden. A read-only indicator appears in the interface.
