Connecting Vrbo

Vrbo uses an embedded connection window in hejGuide.

Before connecting

If your Vrbo account is API-connected to previous software, ask Vrbo support to disconnect that software and return the account to a normal owner account first. Remove conflicting iCal imports in Vrbo before starting this connection.

Complete the connection window

1. Open your listing's Channel manager tab and choose Vrbo.
2. Select VRBO in the embedded window if prompted.
3. Enter the requested owner-account details. Choose Authenticate before Test Connection, and complete the SMS verification if requested.
4. Test access, then match the returned listings to the correct hejGuide rooms and rates.
5. Save and activate the channel once mapping is complete.

Return to hejGuide to check the connection status, then verify availability and prices in Vrbo. If the window does not load, close it and open it again for a fresh session.

Vrbo messaging and reviews are not supported by this connection. If authentication or mapping fails, follow the Channex Vrbo guide or contact support with the exact error.
