Exporting Report Data
You can export data from any report in hejGuide as a CSV file. This is useful for accounting, tax filing, sharing data with your team, or performing deeper analysis in tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
How to export
- Go to Reports in the sidebar.
- Open the report you want to export (Revenue, Occupancy, or Channel Performance).
- Set your desired date range and listing filter. The export will include exactly the data shown on screen for your current filters.
- Click the Export button (typically located in the top right area of the report).
- A CSV file will be downloaded to your computer.
TIP
Set your filters before exporting. The CSV file includes all data points for your selected date range and listing filter, so make sure the report is showing exactly what you need before clicking Export.
What the export includes
The exported CSV file contains all the data points displayed in the report, structured in rows and columns. Depending on the report, this may include:
- Revenue report -- Dates, revenue amounts per listing, daily/weekly/monthly totals, ADR, and RevPAN.
- Occupancy report -- Dates, available nights, booked nights, and occupancy rates per listing.
- Channel Performance report -- Channel names, booking counts, revenue per channel, and average booking values.
The CSV uses standard comma-separated formatting and is compatible with all major spreadsheet applications.
Common uses for exported data
Accounting and bookkeeping
Export monthly or quarterly revenue data and share it with your accountant. The CSV format makes it easy to import into accounting software.
Tax filing
Export the full year's revenue data to calculate your rental income for tax purposes. Filter by listing if you need to report income per property.
Business analysis
Import the CSV into Excel or Google Sheets to create custom charts, pivot tables, or calculations that go beyond what the in-app reports offer.
Sharing with partners
If you co-own properties or work with a property manager, export reports to share transparent performance data.
WARNING
Exported CSV files may contain sensitive business data including revenue figures. Store them securely and be mindful of who you share them with.
